Spring – Wood Element

A time of new beginnings after the hibernation period of Winter (WATER).

Seeds and bulbs pushing through the cold ground to be noticed. WOOD energy is fresh with vigour and new ideas. A clean slate to start the year ahead. Planning and setting things in motion. Sometimes WOOD energy tires quickly so best make an early start as the energy may burn out later in the day. 

Spring Clean the body with a Detox – introduce juices and lighter foods, removing heavy starches and Carbohydrates. 

Tips to Detox:

Fresh Lemon in boiling water helps clean the Liver.

Cut back on Red Meat – include more fish and vegetables.

Cut back on Dairy – try alternative milks like Oat, Coconut or Almond. 

Snack on Nuts rather than sweets.
